About Us

Dear Friends,

Adithya Yegan Charitable Trust (AYCT) was set up in early 2020 to help needy people in and around Chennai during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing as timely a response as possible to their nutritional needs. Rather than sit still and watch the news, we felt it was time to help our fellow countrymen.

We need rice, dall & other food items. It will be more helpful and simpler to help the poor and needy with food items. However, we are ready to take monetary donations as well. We are happy to share your name to the people to whom we distribute your donated food items.

We are constantly working to identify people in need. Our team stays aware of its safety and the safety of others while monitoring guidance from the state on updated pandemic safety measures. We will post media on this website as evidence of our ongoing work. We encourage you to provide us with any feedback.

April 20, 2020: A food distribution effort by our team was filmed by a local news channel. We are happy to have received this exposure for our charity and hope that it will bring in more donors.
